Manchester United 'planning £40million move for Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon as Luke Shaw replacement'

Manchester United are plotting a £40million move for Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to reports.
The Fulham wonderkid has been impressing Jose Mourinho and Fulham know that they might be powerless to stopping him leaving.

The Sun report that the 14-goal winger has been watched by United in his last three outings for Fulham and are preparing a potential offer.
Sessegnon, 17, has been attracting interest from all of the top Premier League teams, with Tottenham initially thought to be winning the race.
Having started his career as a left-back, but now regularly featuring further up the field, he could be seen as an alternate option for Luke Shaw.

Shaw feels Jose is freezing him out

Luke Shaw feels Jose Mourinho is freezing him out and is thinking about complaining to Manchester United chief Ed Woodward, according to sources.
The left-back was substituted at half-time during Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton.
Mourinho said he had taken Shaw off because he'd failed to follow his tactical instructions.
It is just the latest incident in a troubled relationship.
Last season, Mourinho described one of Shaw’s displays as “his body with my brain” and told the England international to “accelerate the learning process”.
The 22-year-old had to wait until December for his first Premier League start of the season, but then started 2018 by playing five of United’s seven games as Ashley Young was banned.
It prompted Mourinho to claim Shaw was in line for a new contract with just one year left this summer on his £80,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford.

Mane, Firmino and Salah confirm status as Premier League's best striking trio

No other attack in the top flight can match the seven assists Liverpool's forward stars have provided each over the course of the current season
Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah were once again on the same wavelength on Saturday as Liverpool beat Watford 5-0.
Salah hit the Reds' first two goals of the weekend against the hapless Hornets, before his Brazilian strike partner swooped to make it three before the hour mark. The Egypt international went on to complete his hat-trick in the 77th minute and added a fourth before the end as Jurgen Klopp's side strolled to three points.
Firmino's strike, moreover, was assisted by none other than Salah, while two of the Egyptians goals came courtesy of Mane, cementing the trio's reputation as one of the Premier League's finest forward partnerships.

The only duo that can match Salah and Firmino's record of seven assists between each other is Mane and Salah, while the rest of the league lags behind.
Firmino has fed Salah three times, while the Egyptian's latest assist means he has repaid the favour on no less than four occasions.
Mane, meanwhile, teed up his team-mate twice on Saturday to make it six assists for him overall, with Salah providing for the Senegal international once.
Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta and Alvaro Morata and Man United pairing Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial lie in second place with six mutual assists.

Fresh from landing AymericLaporte, ManCity appear to be at it again, launching an audacious £60m bid for Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City have launched an audacious £60 million (Dh311.5m) move to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, according to Goal.
Mahrez’s name was first reported by British media on Tuesday lunchtime and City are said to be working hard to strike a shock deal for the Algerian.
City insiders believe that any possible move will be extremely difficult to conclude, but feel their chances would be boosted significantly if Mahrez forces the issue and demands that the Foxes sell him.
Mahrez has been determined to join a top European club for some time and it is understood he will soon hold talks with Leicester to make the case that they should let him join City this month.
Sources close to the player say a £60m bid was lodged on Tuesday.
